Hannah Heinson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Hannah started their career as a Gallery Attendant at York University in 2012, where they worked until 2013. Hannah then joined Forrec Ltd. as a Junior Graphic Designer (Intern) for a few months, where they worked on internal design projects and client presentations.

In 2015, Hannah worked as a Graphic Designer at Mosaic Sales Solutions, focusing on creating visual designs. Hannah later joined Mirum Agency in 2016 as a Designer, where they utilized their skills in design and creativity until 2017.

Hannah then worked as a Visual Designer at The Rumie Initiative from 2017 to 2018, where they contributed their expertise in visual design. Following this, they joined Indigo in 2018 as a Product Designer. At Indigo, Hannah played a vital role in designing features for Indigo.ca and the Indigo app. Hannah also redesigned workflows based on data and analytics, collaborated with stakeholders, and organized user testing sessions.

In 2020, Hannah joined Appnovation as a Design Systems Lead, overseeing the design systems for the company until 2022. Hannah then moved on to theScore in 2022, where they held the position of Design Systems Lead before being promoted to Design Systems Manager in February 2023.

Throughout their career, Hannah has demonstrated their skills in visual design, product design, and design systems management, collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing data and analytics to drive design decisions.

Hannah Heinson obtained their bachelor's degree in design and applied arts from York University in 2014 through the York/Sheridan Program in Design (YSDN). Hannah then pursued a graduate certificate in web design from Sheridan College in 2015. Additionally, they completed a BDes, (Hons), York University/Sheridan Program Design from York University/Sheridan College. It is unclear if they received a specific degree in their field of study at York University or if it was a general design program.
