Simon Cox

Simon Cox has a strong background in risk management and trading insights. Simon currently holds the position of Head of Risk and Trading Insights at theScore since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Flutter Entertainment Plc from 2017 to 2022, where they served as the Sports Trading Team Lead (Risk). Before joining Flutter Entertainment Plc, Simon worked at Paddy Power Betfair for several roles from 2009 to 2016. Simon started as a Sports Trader and then progressed to roles such as Assistant Head Cricket Trader and Head Cricket Trader, where they were responsible for the cricket betting product and managing the team involved. Simon also had experience at Cuths Bar as an Assistant Bar Steward, where they assisted with the operations of the bar and served on the management committee.

Simon Cox completed their education at Durham University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Maths & Economics. Prior to that, they attended Bloxham School from 1998 to 2005, specializing in Mathematics, Economics & Physics.

Additionally, Simon obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Data Analytics for Business from UCD Professional Academy in March 2022. In May 2017, they received certifications in "Managing for Results" and "Motivating and Engaging Employees" from LinkedIn.
