Jessica Kelly

Jessica (Samakow) Kelly has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Jessica currently holds the position of VP, Creative Studio at theSkimm, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Branded and Commerce Content at theSkimm from June 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining theSkimm, Jessica worked at The Washington Post as a Custom Content Editor in the WP Brand Studio from October 2017 to June 2019.

Their earlier experiences include roles at The Huffington Post, where they served as the Managing Editor of HuffPost Voices from July 2010 to October 2017. In this role, they led a team of 25 editors working on various community pages and oversaw daily news coverage and multimedia projects. Jessica also held the position of Senior Editor of Family and Relationships from July 2012 to April 2015.

Jessica began their career at AOL/Huffington Post as an Associate Editor from July 2010 to October 2013.

Jessica (Samakow) Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. Jessica specialized in Advertising and Marketing Communications, as well as Fashion Journalism and Journalism. Additionally, they pursued a Liberal Arts education, with a major in Business administration, at Pennsylvania State University.
