Bethany Elise Toma

Bethany Elise Toma has a varied work experience, beginning with a role as a Legal Assistant at TOMA & ASSOCIATES, L.P.A., INC in 2012. From 2016 to 2019, they held positions as a Laboratory Assistant and Student Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, where they annotated English language texts and reported problems with and suggested improvements to annotation guidelines, resulting in a linked publication. In 2019, they were a Student Research Assistant at the University of Potsdam. Since 2020, they have held roles as a Data Scientist, and Data Science Engineer at Theta Lake.

Bethany Elise Toma completed their Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics & Chinese from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences in 2018. Bethany Elise then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Cognitive Systems from the University of Potsdam, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
