Ahmed Adam is an Associate Professor in the Division of Urology at the University of the Witwatersrand since August 2017. Currently, Ahmed serves as the Head of the Urology Unit at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital and holds the position of President at the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. With experience on the editorial boards of BJUI - BJU International and The Surgery Journal, Ahmed has been a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Head of Unit at both Helen Joseph Hospital and Rahima Moosa Mother & Child (Coronation) Hospital since November 2014. Ahmed's background includes a fellowship at The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network and work as a Urology Registrar at the University of Pretoria. Educational qualifications include a Medical Degree (MBBCh) and a Master's in Medicine (MMed) in Urology from the University of Pretoria, among other certifications.
