Nicolas S. Piuzzi currently serves as Co Director of the Musculoskeletal Research Center and as an Associate Staff member in Adult Joint Reconstruction Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where additional roles include Director of the Cleveland Clinic Adult Reconstruction Research and Orthopaedic Regenerative Medicine and Cellular Therapies Clinical Scholar. Since January 2020, Nicolas has held the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and has been an Associate Editor for the Journal of Knee Surgery. With a research position at Instituto Universitario Hospital Italiano and a role at the Cochrane Center in Buenos Aires, Nicolas has contributed significantly to orthopedic research. Earlier experience includes completing an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires and a research stint at the Cleveland Clinic’s Dr. Muschler Laboratory. Educational qualifications include an M.D. from Universidad del Salvador, a Professorship in Medicine, a Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the University of Buenos Aires, and Board Certification from the Asociación Argentina de Ortopedia y Traumatologia.
