Shankar Gopalan

Shankar N Gopalan serves as the Group Executive for Strategy, Sustainability & Safety at Thiess since June 2023, leading sustainability transformation and strategic direction for growth and diversification. Concurrently, Shankar is a member of the Management Board at PYBAR Mining Services, focusing on the company's global mining portfolio, and serves on the Board of Directors for LAAMP, overseeing the software company's strategic direction. With extensive experience at Halliburton from 1991 to 2022, Shankar held multiple leadership roles including Area Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa, which involved overseeing operations across several countries.
