Alicia García Romero has a long and varied work experience. Alicia began their career in 2007 as a Monitora de Tiempo Libre at Axuntamento de Outes. In 2009, they moved to Paralaxe Multimedia and Virtual Systems as a Multimedia Programmer. In 2011, they worked as a Monitora de Tiempo Libre Voluntaria at Cruz Roja Juventud Santiago de Compostela and as a Monitora de Tiempo Libre at Axuntamento de Outes. In 2012, they worked as a Monitora de Tiempo Libre Bilingüe at Red Leaf. From 2013-2015, they worked at Deloitte España as a Programador J2EE and Programador Becario. From 2016-2020, they worked at Nuvolar Works as a Software Engineer Team Lead, Software Engineer & Scrum Master, and Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Team Lead Engineering Success at Think-it, where they focus on digital transformation, smart infrastructure, and the UN SDGs.
Alicia García Romero holds a Master in Creation, Design and Multimedia Engineering from La Salle, Ramón LLull, which they obtained in 2013. Alicia also holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela, which they obtained in 2010.
