Joseph Howell

Joseph Howell is a seasoned financial and strategic advisor with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as an Advisor at ThinkOrbital since December 2021, Joseph contributes to the development of scalable space structures for the New Space economy. Previous advisory roles include SoftLedger and SOX and Internal Controls Professionals Group, which Joseph co-founded in 2015. Additionally, Joseph co-founded the SEC Professionals Group and worked at Workiva as VP of Strategic Initiatives. Other notable positions include Managing Director at Financial Intelligence, LLC, Chief Financial Officer at eMusic, and Senior Vice President and CFO at Merix Corporation. Joseph's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Michigan.
