Britt Szynal

Britt Szynal has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles.

Britt currently works at ThinkShout as a Project Director and Management Lead since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Business Development and Project Director from January 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they served as a Senior Project Manager from June 2021 to January 2022, and as a Project Manager from March 2018 to June 2021.

Before joining ThinkShout, Britt worked at Harper's Playground as a Development Director from May 2016 to March 2018. In this role, they played a key role in developing a strategic plan to scale the nonprofit organization to a national level, transforming the operational model and implementing a Donor Relationship Management system.

Britt also worked at SOLVE as a Grants & Contracts Manager from February 2015 to May 2016. Their responsibilities included managing grants, implementing a grants management system, and supporting organization-wide fundraising and communications efforts.

Britt's earlier experience includes working at Luke-Dorf, Inc. as a Grant and Development Manager from October 2009 to December 2014. In this role, they relaunched the development department and managed various cross-functional initiatives related to public funding compliance and program design.

Britt began their career as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Oregon Health Network in October 2008, followed by a role as a Marketing Coordinator at EthicsPoint from March 2008 to September 2008.

Britt Szynal completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Option and their Bachelor of Arts degree in French at Oregon State University from 2002 to 2007. Britt then pursued a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising from Portland State University, which they completed in 2014. In 2015, Britt furthered their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Willamette University.
