Bas van Goor

Bas van Goor has extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Their most recent position is at ThinScale Technology Ltd. where they hold the role of Head of Sales Engineering. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at the same company. Before joining ThinScale Technology, Bas worked at Ivanti as a Senior Sales Engineer for four years. Bas also had a long tenure at RES Software, where they held multiple positions including Customer Success Manager, practice lead Sales Engineering UK & I, Technical Account Manager, and Solution Engineer. Bas has also worked as a Virtualization Consultant at COFELY GDF-SUEZ and as a Consultant at Royal Cosun. Earlier in their career, they served as the CTO and Senior Virtualization Consultant at PepperByte. Bas has also gained experience in project leadership and infrastructure architecture as a Project Lead and Teamlead/Infrastructure Architect at Volkswagen Pon Financial Services and Gemeente Rotterdam, respectively. Bas started their career as a System Engineer at Amsterdam Thuiszorg (ATZ).

Bas van Goor attended Christiaan Huygens College from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Technische Informatica at the MBO level.
