Jamie Newth

Jamie Newth has held various roles in the corporate world since 2010. Jamie began their career as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Auckland. In 2014, they became the CEO of Soul Capital. In 2018, they joined the National Advisory Board for Impact Investment (New Zealand) as a Board Member. In 2019, they joined Ember Korowai Takitini as a Board Member and Ember Innovations as Chair. In 2021, they became a Director of Toru Group Ltd NZ and Te Pae ki te Rangi GP. In 2022, they joined Thinxtra, Enabling Massive IoT and Kara Technologies as a Director.

Jamie Newth has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Entrepreneurship from The University of Auckland, a Master of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Team Dynamics from The University of Auckland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce in Organisational Change and Innovation from The University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and International Business from The University of Auckland. In addition, Jamie has completed Te Ara Reo Maori Level 4 and Level 2 from Te Wananga o Aotearoa.
