Mike Altman

Based in Chicago, Mike oversees the development of 3CU’s Midwest Region. He has more than 15 years of experience as a commercial insurance broker and underwriter. Throughout his career, Mike has managed a large construction captive program, as well as large guaranteed cost and loss-sensitive programs across the country. He is well-versed in workers’ compensation policy forms, contractual requirements, loss control protocols and the common challenges that face both agency and customer partners.

Mike attended the University of Iowa and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He’s also earned the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation (CAWC) designations.
