Dr. David Alexander

Dr. David Alexander CPA is a distinguished finance professional with extensive experience in both academia and the financial sector. As Co-Founder and Vice-Chair of Third Eye Capital since 2005, Dr. Alexander has played a pivotal role in pioneering private credit in Canada. Previous academic appointments include Visiting Professor at Ateneo de Davao University (2015-2020) and Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo (2012-2015), focusing on finance and investment education. Dr. Alexander's financial leadership experience encompasses roles such as Chair of Audit and Member of the Investment Committee at HOOPP (2003-2009), Founder and CEO of CIT (1995-2000), and Senior Vice President and CFO at GE Capital (1991-1995). Dr. Alexander holds a DBA in Accounting and Management from Nova Southeastern University, an MBA in Finance and Management from Western University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Brock University, along with CPA qualifications from CPA Ontario.
