Michael Turner

Michael Turner has worked in the field of immunology for over 17 years. In 2004, they began as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Michael then moved to Sanofi Genzyme in 2007, where they served as Associate Director. In 2016, they became the Research Fellow, Head of Discovery Immunology at Alkermes Inc. Michael then took on two roles at Ventus Therapeutics in 2019, as Vice President, Head of Protein Sciences and Exploratory Biology and Vice President, Head of Translational Sciences. Michael also served as Vice President, Immunology at SMOC Therapeutics in 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they became an Independent Consultant, and will start as Executive Director of Immunology at Third Harmonic Bio in 2022.

Michael Turner earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry between 1996 and 2003. Michael also received a B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Vermont between 1990 and 1994.
