Steve Ovadia

Steve Ovadia has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Steve started their career at IBM as a Multimedia Training Developer, where they managed multimedia training projects. Steve then worked as a NYS Certified Computer Instructor at Drake Business School, delivering PC training and managing student council. In 1992, they started their own business called Software Solutions, where they handled all aspects of business operation including business permit acquisition, tax document management, advertising strategy, PC training, and desktop publishing.

Steve then moved on to work at Marsh, USA as a Business Analyst and later as a Project Lead, where they were responsible for the implementation of Microsoft Office 97 software suite and the design and development of automated forms for the insurance placement process.

In 1998, they joined Neuberger Berman, LLC as a Project Manager, leading the design, development, training, and support of custom sales force automation and management reporting systems.

Steve then served as the MIS Director at ACORD, a leading Insurance Industry Technology Standards Association, where they managed the MIS department and corporate information systems.

From 2001 to 2003, they worked at ProActive Solutions as an Implementation Consultant, focusing on iMIS software implementation projects and improving business processes through the development and implementation of a back-office integrated Outlook calendar-based Consulting Services Billing System.

Their most recent role was at Third Wave Business Systems as an SAP Business One Implementation Consultant. Steve was responsible for implementing the SAP Business One ERP system for clients in various industries, managing all aspects of the implementation projects and utilizing customization tools and add-ons to automate processes.

Steve Ovadia's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Binghamton University, where they studied from 1989 to 1991.
