Jamison Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jamison began their career in 2000 at Brock and Spencer Benefits, where they worked as an Insurance professional for three years. In 2001, they joined WHITFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT as a Teacher and Coach, a role they held for eleven years. In 2003, they also took on the role of Youth Director at First Centenary United Methodist Church until 2005. Jamison then transitioned to the Hamilton County Department of Education as an Assistant Principal from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they served as Principal at Dade County Schools for three years, from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, they joined ASTUTE FILMS LIMITED as a Producer. Most recently, they have been working at Thirdmill since 2017, first as a Regional Director until 2021, and now as the Vice President for Advancement & Generosity.

Jamison Griffin completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Education at Berry College, from 1996 to 2001. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Jamison then went on to earn a Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, it is known that Jamison attended Berry College for further studies in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, although the specific duration is not provided.
