Zakir Mohamed currently serves as Associate Legal Counsel at ThirdWay Partners, where responsibilities include advising the Africa Conservation and Communities Tourism (ACCT) Fund on investments in conservation tourism operators across Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior experience includes working as an Associate in Energy & Infrastructure Projects at Bowmans and serving as In-House Counsel at E3 Capital, a prominent distributed infrastructure investment firm in Africa. Zakir holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with honors from the University of Warwick, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and completed a Pre Kenya School of Law Compliance Programme at Riara University. Educational background also includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma and IGCSE from the Aga Khan Academy in Nairobi.
