Rita Priori

Rita Priori serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Thirona since March 2023, leading the R&D organization and developing AI-driven chest CT image analysis technologies. Prior to this role, Rita held various positions at Philips from September 2013 to March 2023, including Group Lead and Principal Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing innovation programs in respiratory care, and driving numerous research projects. Rita's background includes a PhD in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano and a strong focus on algorithm development, clinical research, and collaboration with healthcare stakeholders, demonstrated through successful innovation and patent generation throughout a career that began with a research fellowship at Politecnico di Milano.
