Melissa Magsaysay has been working in the fashion and beauty industry since 2004. MELISSA began their career as a Fashion Market Editor at WWD in 2004 and then moved on to become a Staff Writer and Style Editor at the Los Angeles Times in 2007. In 2012, they became a Freelance Writer and Journalist, and also authored the book "City of Style: Exploring Los Angeles from Bohemian to Rock". In 2017, they began working as the Editorial Director at 11 Honoré and in 2020, they took on the role of Head of Content at thirteen lune. Throughout their career, they have been a regular contributor to newspapers, magazines and online publications, writing about fashion, beauty and culture.

Melissa Magsaysay attended Pioneer High School from 1992 to 1996. MELISSA then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College from 1996 to 2000.
