Melissa Miller

V.p. Of Relevant Brand & Communications at thirteen lune

Melissa Miller has a long and impressive career in communications and content creation. Melissa began their career in 1999 as an Adjunct Professor in the Film & Television Department at the School of Visual Arts, teaching introductory and advanced screenwriting courses. In 2001, they became an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University's Media Studies and Communications Department, teaching public relations and screenwriting courses. Melissa also began working as a Screenwriting Consultant in 2001.

In 2008, Miller joined Sundial Brands as the Senior Director of Communications, leading consumer public relations in the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia for the company's portfolio. During their time at Sundial Brands, they managed multiple agencies, campaigns and initiatives, and garnered 500+ beauty awards, including Allure's "Best of Beauty Awards" for eight consecutive years for SheaMoisture.

In 2017, Miller moved to Unilever as the Senior Director of Communications, leading consumer public relations in the US, UK, Europe and Australia for Sundial Brands' portfolio. During their time at Unilever, they managed multiple agencies and led national and international campaigns and initiatives, and garnered 150+ beauty awards, including Allure's "Best of Beauty Awards" in 2018 and 2019 for SheaMoisture.

In 2020, Miller joined Alaffia as the V.P. of Communications & Content, leading public relations, paid media, social media and content creation for this award-winning global cause marketing organization. During their time at Alaffia, they won Allure, Good Housekeeping, Parents, Esquire, SELF, Men's Heath, TeenVogue, Essence and Digiday awards.

Miller is currently the V.P. of Relevant Brand & Communications at thirteen lune, a position they have held since 2022.

Melissa Miller earned their M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University and their B.A. in English from the University of Iowa.
