Jody Murchie

Jody Murchie has over 13 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Jody is currently the Head of People & Culture at Aura, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, Jody worked as the Head of People & Culture at Unbound from April 2021 to present. Jody also held the position of Finance Officer at Unbound from September 2014 to March 2021. Before their time at Unbound, Jody was a Finance Officer at Lala Hospitality Group from September 2014 to April 2021. Jody also served as a Business Manager at Outdoor Insights Pty Ltd from November 2008 to June 2014, and as an Area Manager ACT at Mountain Designs from February 2009 to November 2009. Jody previously worked as a Postgraduate Scholar (Biomechanics) at the Australian Institute of Sport from January 2008 to November 2008.

Jody Murchie completed their Higher School Certificate at Oxley College from 1996 to 2001. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, Jody pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree at the same university. From 2015 to 2016, they earned a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping from OTEN. Currently, Jody is studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Business (Major in Accounting) through Swinburne Online, which began in 2018 and will continue until 2023.
