Matthew Owchar

Matthew Owchar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the arts and entertainment sectors. As a Co-Founder of the Paradise Cultural Society since March 2019, Matthew has been instrumental in promoting art forms and talent through interactive forums while creating opportunities for artists on various scales. In addition, Matthew co-founded The UV in May 2017, focusing on niche music and event production. As a Senior Promoter and Marketing Manager at This Is Blueprint since August 2012, Matthew oversees show bookings and leads digital marketing strategies for Western Canada's largest event promoter, alongside managing social media for multiple brands. Furthermore, as a Co-Founder of Specials Worldwide, established in February 2019, Matthew contributes to the evolution of the Vancouver Sound in modern and alternative music. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of British Columbia and an Associate's Degree in Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi.
