Kaidi Mao

Kai Mao is a highly skilled designer with extensive experience in various design roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Designer I at This Place since February 2023, Kai collaborates with design teams to innovate solutions and maintains client relationships. As the Design & Community Lead at Mindsparkle Mag since July 2017, Kai implements audience strategies that enhance marketing campaigns and analyzes competitive insights. Previous experience includes working as a Senior Global Brand Designer at BCG Digital Ventures, where Kai executed integrated campaigns, and as a Design Lead at Miku, overseeing brand visual communication. Earlier roles comprise Product Designer at Winc Wines, focusing on website and brand activation design, and freelance product design for Monserat De Lucca, with designs featured in prominent magazines. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Visual Communications and Experience Design from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Otis College of Art and Design.
