Francis Gane

Francis Gane has a diverse work experience that spans over various role titles and companies. Francis'smore recent work experiences include being a Lead Product Designer for a company called Bud, a Lead Instructor - UX Design for General Assembly, and a Lead UX Designer for Vista. In addition to these, they have also worked as a Senior UX Designer for QVC and as a Head of Design for Ultimate Guitar. Francis has had extensive experience in managing UX strategy, user research, AB testing, design systems, and testing plans. In their earlier years, they co-founded two companies, AudioTribe and DemoBox, where they held the role of UX Lead. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in leading and managing UX design and product work across different industries, including retail, music, and social media.

Francis Gane graduated from The University of Manchester in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Interactive Systems Design. Additionally, Francis has obtained several certifications including a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance in January 2018, a PADI Open Water Diver certification from PADI in July 2014, and an Amateur Radio License from Ofcom in March 2004.
