Omar Darwazah

Omar Darwazah serves as the Managing Director and General Partner at AAF Management Ltd., an early-stage venture capital firm concentrating on pre-Seed and Series A technology companies in North America and global emerging managers, since January 2017. Additionally, Omar is the Founder of the Kauffman Fellows program, which trains senior venture capital leaders through a rigorous two-year curriculum, and has been a Managing Partner at Darwazah Capital, overseeing various assets, including venture capital investments. Furthermore, Omar has made investments in Andela, which provides premier software developers from Africa, and Thndr, a platform promoting commission-free investments in Egypt. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and an AB in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago.
