Yu Fukumoto

Yu Fukumoto has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009. They started as a Lecturer in Design and Illustration at both The Esperanza Institute of Footwear Design & Technique and Vantan Design Institute. In 2009, Yu also worked as a Designer at Writtenafterwards Inc. In 2010, Yu joined Thom Browne, Inc., where they held several roles including Fabric Buyer/Production Manager, Women's Designer, and eventually Design Director, Fabrics.

Yu Fukumoto began their education in 1996, completing a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Science from an unspecified institution in 2000. In 2001, they enrolled in the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design program at Central Saint Martins College. Yu then pursued a Fashion Folio Course at the same college from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, Fukumoto attended the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Fashion. Yu continued their education at the same institution, earning a Master's degree in Fashion from 2007 to 2008.
