Dave Meinert

Dave brings over 34 years of experience and passion for developing and driving effective cost-containment strategies in Unemployment Tax Management and HR/Payroll solutions for employers of all sizes and industries.

Dave’s career in the unemployment cost management industry began in 1985 with The Frick Company in their New Accounts Department. With a drive and desire to deliver the highest quality, customer service and results, Dave excelled during the next 17 years in many roles as Manager of various day-to-day internal operations, Account Executive with direct responsibility for large Key Accounts including Wal-Mart, Sodexo and Manpower to name a few. Dave also served as an Unemployment Hearings representative, collaborated with State Employment Development Divisions and Chambers of Commerce presenting UC Cost Management training for employers, and finally as Assistant VP, Client Relations up to the acquisition of The Frick Company by TALX Corporation.

With TALX, Dave worked on the integration of The Frick Company and Gates McDonald who were acquired on the same day, as well as the operations, personnel and clients of five additional acquired unemployment cost management companies over the next five years. Following the acquisition of TALX by Equifax, Dave moved into Product Management and Sales Support as the subject matter expert for the Unemployment Cost Management product.

Desiring a return to a more client-centric, consultative role in a privately-held company that was more laser-focused on solving employer problems and eliminating financial waste, Dave joined the Thomas & Company sales team in September of 2018.
