Brom Sulaiman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Brom started their career in 2004 as a Web Designer at Penton Media Europe, providing relief for the web design team during peak seasons. From there, they moved on to Ithaca Business Media Ltd. in 2005, where they worked as a Web & Email Designer, creating and implementing web and email campaigns for the marketing department.
In 2006, they had a short role as Quality Assurance at Sega, before joining Leadership Hub in 2007 as a Lead UX/UI Designer. At Leadership Hub, they were responsible for overseeing and guiding the user experience of an award-winning online leadership development platform, collaborating with a diverse team to build bespoke platforms for international clients. Brom remained at Leadership Hub until 2018, accumulating over a decade of experience in the role.
In 2008, Brom Sulaiman started their freelance career as a UX/UI Designer and front-end developer, working with clients from various industries, including customer service, leadership and management, risk management, magazine publishing, automotive parts supply, holistic healthcare, and ecommerce. Brom focused on delivering projects with transparency, communication, and building long-term relationships with their clients.
Finally, in 2018, they joined Thomas International as a UX Designer, driving a user-centric product suite redesign and collaborating with various departments. Brom quickly moved up to the role of Lead UX Designer, leading the UX function in an agile Product Engineering team and contributing to the digital transformation of Thomas International into a SAAS based business. Brom then advanced to the role of UX Manager, before ultimately becoming the Head of UX in 2023.
Brom Sulaiman completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Media Technology and Digital Media Production from the University of West London, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications in UX research, wireframing, UX design, user experience management, human-computer interaction, growth-driven design, inbound marketing, and Spanish fluency estimation. These certifications were acquired from institutions such as Coursera, The Interaction Design Foundation, HubSpot Academy, and Duolingo.
