Nazim Ilyas

Nazim Ilyas has a strong background in finance with over 18 years of experience. Nazim is currently the Director of Finance at Thomas International. Prior to this, they served as the Finance Director at IMO Car Wash Group Ltd for four years. Before that, Nazim held the position of Financial Director and Financial Controller at Ultra Maritime. Nazim also worked as a Finance Business Partner at UTC Aerospace Systems and as a Finance Consultant at IFS. Additionally, Nazim gained experience as the F,P&A Reporting Manager and Management Accountant at NHBC. In the early years of their career, they held roles as a Finance Analyst at C-MAC MicroTechnology and as an Accounts Executive at Personal Group and Honeywell.

Nazim Ilyas earned a 2:1 degree in Business & IT from Aston University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended JOHN HAMPDEN GRAMMAR SCHOOL, HIGH WYCOMBE, from 1998 to 2000, and completed their A-Levels in Business Studies, Computing, and Sociology, earning grades B, C, and C respectively. Nazim also completed their GCSEs at Sir William Ramsay from 1994 to 1998, achieving 8 A-C's.
