Felix Kim has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Felix started their career as a Research Assistant at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in 1993. Felix then worked as a Research Scientist at Allergan in 1995 and later pursued a PhD while working as a Researcher PhD Candidate at both CNRS and INSERM from 1998 to 2002. Felix joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Associate in 2008, followed by roles as a Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine starting from 2010. During their time at Drexel University, they also served as the Director of the Graduate Program in Pharmacology & Physiology from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they became a Co-Founder at Context Therapeutics and concurrently worked as a Member at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Health. Recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Associate Director, Training & Education Programs at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. Finally, in 2018, they joined Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals as an Associate Professor & Principal Investigator in Cancer Biology.
Felix Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology, also from UC San Diego. Felix then pursued a PhD in Biochemistry and Virology at the University of Montpellier, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Molecular Pharmacology & Chemistry Program at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
