Jessica Welsh, MHA, FACHE has a diverse work experience in healthcare management. Jessica started their career as the Director of Operations at Allied Office Products from 2003 to 2006. Jessica then joined the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where they held various roles such as Practice Administrator, Director of Finance and Administration at the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Administrative Director of the Department of Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

In 2014, Jessica became the Director of Operations at Pediatric Multispecialty Medical Group, Inc, where they were responsible for managing corporate operations for a medical group aligned with UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians Foundation. In 2020, they joined UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals as the inaugural Service Line Director for Surgical Services. During their tenure, they oversaw the business operations of the perioperative units across multiple campuses, with a significant operating budget and a large number of direct and indirect reports.

Currently, Jessica is working at Jefferson Health as the Vice President of Operations, a role they assumed in 2023.

Jessica Welsh, MHA, FACHE completed their education in healthcare administration with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Fairleigh Dickinson University, which they attained from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from Seton Hall University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jessica has pursued several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge, including Population Health Management from the University of California, San Francisco (2023), Six Sigma: Green Belt, Six Sigma Foundations, and Operational Excellence Foundations from LinkedIn (2022), and Excel VBA from AcademyX Computer Training (2017). Jessica also holds the prestigious title of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), awarded by the American College of Healthcare Executives.
