Chris Miciek

Director, Center For Career Success at Thomas Jefferson University

Chris Miciek has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris started their career in 1998 as a Research Manager at Execupower, Inc. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Data & Marketing Analyst at Wesleyan University - GLSP. In 2002, they joined Baker College Online & Center for Graduate Studies as the Director of Career Services, where they created the first 100% online college career services office and developed online career development courses. Chris then moved to Drexel University in 2008 as an Associate Director at the Steinbright Career Development Center. In 2010, they became the Associate Director of Graduate Admission at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where they oversaw recruitment and collaborated with university personnel for effective recruiting strategies. Most recently, in 2015, they joined Thomas Jefferson University as the Director of the Center for Career Success.

Chris Miciek obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Calvin University in 1991. Chris then pursued a Masters degree in Psychology from Wesleyan University, which they completed in 1995. In 2012, Chris obtained a certification in Gamification from Coursera.
