James Morta

James Morta has a diverse work experience in various roles. James most recently worked at Thomas Jefferson University as an Athletic Communications Director starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Wilkes University as a Sports Information Assistant from August 2022 to April 2023, where they relayed information and utilized NCAA LiveStats for various sports.

James also worked at the University of Dubuque, starting in January 2021 as a Sports Information Assistant, where they coordinated information for NCAA LiveStats for volleyball, soccer, basketball, and football. At the same university, they also served as a Graduate Assistant from August 2020 to April 2022, assisting teachers, lecturing students, and grading them on their knowledge of sports concepts.

Earlier in their career, James worked at Boyer's Food Markets as a Stocker/Person In Charge from August 2018 to July 2020, and at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania as a Sports Information Intern from January 2018 to May 2018, and as a Sports Information Assistant from August 2016 to January 2018. James'sfirst work experience was as a Cashier at Redner's Markets from February 2014 to June 2016.

James Morta earned a Master's Degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Dubuque, which they attended from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. James completed their high school education at Daniel Boone Area High School in Douglassville, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2014 with a high school diploma.
