Kristi Bergman

Kristi Bergman currently serves as Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at Thomas Jefferson University since August 2020, following a role as Assistant Provost in the same area. Prior to this, Kristi held the position of Assistant Dean of Liberal Studies at Community College of Philadelphia from November 2015 to August 2020 and was the Director of the Program in American Language Studies at Rutgers University from January 2014 to November 2015. With extensive experience in managing budgets and faculty, Kristi has successfully increased revenue while reducing expenses in competitive educational environments, developed partnerships with local businesses, and streamlined administrative processes to enhance compliance and student services. Early career roles include Chair of the ESL and ML Department at Atlantic Cape Community College and various sales positions at Pearson Prentice Hall and Thomson Learning. Kristi holds a Master of Arts in French Language and Civilization from New York University, a Master of Education in TESL from The College of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in International Studies and French from the University of Scranton.
