Mohammed Mawlana

Mohammed Mawlana is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of construction management, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University since August 2021. Prior to this position, Mohammed was an Assistant Professor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from August 2017 to August 2021 and held a Visiting Assistant Professor role at Mississippi State University during the 2016 academic year. Mohammed's teaching career began with an Adjunct Instructor position at Concordia University, where engagement continued as a Graduate Research Assistant. Experience in the construction industry includes roles such as Planner, Scheduler, Estimator, and Superintendent Engineer at Al-Basel Contracting and General Maintenance Est. and Arabtec Construction. Mohammed earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Building Engineering, along with a Master’s Degree in the same field from Concordia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah.
