Sydney M. Bynum

Sydney M. Bynum serves as a Library Instructional Support Specialist at Thomas Jefferson University since November 2019. Previous experience includes serving as the Education and Health & Wellness Coordinator for the City of Philadelphia's Promise Zone as part of an AmeriCorps VISTA term, along with a summer role as an Open Data Summer Associate with the City’s Office of Open Data & Digital Transformation. Sydney M. Bynum's early career includes work as a Campus Ambassador with Ycenter in Mumbai, India, and serving as a Community Outreach Team Leader at Washington and Jefferson College, collaborating with local non-profits. An internship at the Jackson Hole Center for Global Affairs involved research on energy policies in China and the United States. Sydney M. Bynum holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and International Studies from Washington & Jefferson College, complemented by an exchange program at Radboud University.
