Michele G. Kilo

Dr. Michele Kilo is a graduate of the UMKC School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric residency and fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics both at Children’s Mercy, Kansas City. From 1991 until 2018, Dr. Kilo grew and led their Division of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences. She has received awards for her commitment and work on behalf of children’s health and community advocacy for children and teens with a wide range of developmental differences. In the Fall of 2018, Michele began a partnership with the non-profit FosterAdopt Connect and is working with children and families in the foster system or who have been adopted, and who also have developmental, behavioral and/or trauma-related concerns. In 2019, Michele completed training and gained certification as a Certified Physician Coach. She is using this to support and guide healthcare professionals to lead healthier and more fulfilled lives and careers.
