Beth MacNeill

Beth MacNeill has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Beth is currently serving as the Chief Development and Communications Officer at Thompson Island Outward Bound since June 2020. Previously, they held the position of Vice President of Development at Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center from January 2017 to June 2020.

Before this, they worked as the Chief Development Officer at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University from December 2014 to December 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of Philanthropy at Tufts Medical Center Trust from November 2013 to November 2014.

Beth also has a long tenure at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, where they held the role of Vice President for Development from August 2001 to October 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at M+M Music for twenty years, from June 1991 to March 2011.

Beth MacNeill has further fundraising experience as the Fundraising Director for the Hyannis Port Challenge at Best Buddies International from January 2000 to August 2001. Beth worked as a Campaign Director at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from September 1996 to December 1999.

Their early career includes roles such as a Sales Specialist at Addison Wesley from August 1995 to August 1996 and a Senior Regional Sales Representative at Boston Capital from March 1992 to July 1995.

Beth MacNeill attended the University of Miami from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelors degree in Business.
