Charles Shewmake

Charles Shewmake is a seasoned railroad and transportation lawyer currently serving as a Partner at Holland & Knight LLP since August 2021 and at Thompson & Knight LLP since September 2016. Previously, Charles held various leadership roles at BNSF Railway from 1990 to 2016, culminating in the position of Vice President and General Counsel. Charles earned a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law and an Executive Education AMP from Harvard Business School, in addition to a BBA from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business.
