Karen Roy

Controller at TVS

Karen Roy is the current Controller at TVS. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Administration/Controller at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta from January 2015 to June 2017. In this role, they provided senior leadership and management in the key areas of finances and generosity, human resources, governance and communication, and facilities. Additionally, they monitored the financial health of the congregation, compliance with existing policies, and progress toward achieving the congregation's goals and objectives.

From March 2012 to February 2013, Ms. Roy served as the Controller at United Way of Williamson County. In this role, they managed and led all finance operations for the United Way of Williamson County and analyzed processes to seek opportunities to improve the financial condition of the organization while ensuring compliance with all United Way Worldwide standards.

Before their role at United Way of Williamson County, Ms. Roy served as the Controller at Red Oak Sanitation from January 2014 to December 2014. Prior to their role at Red Oak Sanitation, they served as the Business Owner and CFO at Center Stage Fitness from January 2009 to February 2012. In this role, they were responsible for all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

From January 2005 to December 2008, Ms. Roy served as the VP for Fiscal Affairs at Southern Catholic College. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the college, including budgeting, accounting, and auditing.

Karen Roy has a MBA in Business - Accounting from Rollins College and a BA in Accounting from Grove City College. Karen also attended North Allegheny High School.

Karen Roy reports to Bill Gailey, Chief Financial Officer.
