Ben Holman

Ben Holman has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ben started their career as a Mobile App UI Visual Designer at Duke Energy Corporation in 2015. Ben then worked as a Graphic Designer for the National Restaurant Association and as a UX Architect for the Whirlpool Corporation. Ben also had short-term contracts as a UX/UI Lead at the Texas Department of Transportation and a UX Architect at DCI-Artform. In 2017, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Associated Publications, Inc. and a UX Designer at CUNA Mutual Group. Ben also worked on a three-month contract as a UX Architect for Thomson Industries, Inc, followed by a role as a Senior Application Developer at US Foods. Furthermore, Ben had their own company called Ben Holman Design, where they worked as a Creative Director and Owner, specializing in web content, digital assets, and brochure design.

Ben Holman attended Illinois State University from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications. In addition to their formal education, Ben has pursued various certifications and completed several courses in different subjects. The certifications include "Visual Studio Code for Web Developers," "Adobe Experience Manager for Marketers," "Cert Prep: Certified Scrum Master," and "Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)." These were obtained in February and March of 2019. Furthermore, Ben obtained certifications and completed courses in topics such as SharePoint customization, UX (User Experience) design, responsive web design, JavaScript, and Agile methodologies between 2017 and 2016.
