Lorenzo Verstraeten

Lorenzo Verstraeten is a Manager of Responsible AI at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities include overseeing AI initiatives since May 2022. Lorenzo also serves as a Mentor with Lead The Future Mentorship, starting in September 2022, and previously held the position of Data Engineer at Credit Suisse from June 2020 to May 2022. Additional experience includes working as a Data Science Freelancer from December 2019 to May 2020, and a Data Science Intern at OTO Systems for a brief period in late 2019. Lorenzo's academic background features a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, completed in 2019, a Data Science Bootcamp at Constructor Academy, and advanced degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and Università degli Studi di Perugia, respectively.
