Mihai Burcea

Mihai Burcea is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Lead Research Engineer at Thomson Reuters since April 2024, Mihai previously held the role of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at HomeX from July 2021 to February 2024, and also worked as a Software Engineer at McAfee from April 2017 to June 2021, following Intel Corporation's divestiture of its Security Group. Additionally, Mihai's career began at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer from June 2016 to April 2017. Mihai holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, earned between 2006 and 2015.
