Simon Landry

Simon Landry, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Thomson Reuters since August 2021, focusing on areas such as Machine Learning Operations and legal technology platforms. Prior experience includes a role as Bilingual Knowledge Broker at CAMH, where research efforts led to significant improvements in user satisfaction and account verifications. Simon also founded Empathy Engine, producing multiple Amazon Alexa skills with a substantial user base, and held various positions in user experience and research across different organizations, including TACTAI Inc. and York University. Academically, Simon holds a BSc in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Entrepreneurship from Bishop's University, a Master's degree in Kinanthropologie from UQAM, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Université de Montréal.
