Louise Porteus

Louise Porteus is an experienced Environment and Social Manager currently leading Sustainability and ESG efforts at Thor Explorations Ltd since March 2017, where Louise is also a member of the Executive Committee. In addition, Louise serves as the Director at Porteus Consulting, focusing on international development, environment, and social management. Previously, Louise held key positions including Programme Director for Environment and Society at WorleyParsons/Advisian, and Director of International Environment at URS, where Louise established and led a global development team. Early career experience includes significant roles at Halcrow Group Limited and various consultancies, where Louise specialized in urban planning and environmental projects. Louise's educational background includes an MSc in Development Planning from UCL and a Bachelor of Town Planning from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
