Mark McGeough

Mark McGeough is a seasoned geologist and mining professional with extensive experience in exploration and resource development. Currently serving as Non-Exec Director at Thor Mining PLC since August 2020, Mark previously held the position of General Manager and Director at Chinova Resources from May 2013 to November 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing Cu-Co-Au-Mo-U exploration in Northwest Queensland. Prior roles include General Manager - Exploration at Toro Energy, where Mark led a successful exploration team and was pivotal in the Theseus uranium discovery, and Manager of the Geological Survey at Primary Industries and Resources SA, promoting mineral exploration in South Australia. Mark’s career began in exploration roles with AGIP Australia and Saracen Minerals and included a position as a teacher at Alice Springs High School. Mark holds a B.Sc in Geology and Geography from the University of London.
