William Rivas-Rivas

William Rivas-Rivas has extensive work experience in philanthropy and fundraising roles, with a focus on animal protection organizations. William is currently the Director of Philanthropy at Thorn since 2022. Previously, from 2016 to 2022, they served as the International Director of Philanthropy at Animal Equality.

Before that, from 2013 to 2016, Rivas-Rivas worked at the Animal Legal Defense Fund, where they initially served as the Director of Philanthropic Gifts and then as the Director of Development. During their tenure, they successfully raised funds through various strategies and increased fundraising revenue by 143.5% in the first two years.

William then pursued further education in the field of Photojournalism at the Speos Paris Photographic Institute, completing their European Masters I degree from 2007 to 2008.
