Robert Rountree

Robert Rountree is a well-known name in the natural health industry. For over 20 years, they have been the family practice and functional medicine Boulder Wellcare. Robert is also the Chief Medical Officer of Thorne Research, a distributor of exclusive high purity nutraceuticals and medical foods. In addition to these positions, they have also been a core faculty member of The Institute for Functional Medicine for 22 years and 6 months, a scientific advisory board member of Balchem Corporation for 8 years and 9 months, a medical editor of New Hope Natural Media for 21 years and 6 months, and a clinical editor of Alternative and Complementary Therapies (Mary Ann Liebert publishing) for 22 years and 5 months. Robert is also a member of the professional speaker's bureau Genova Diagnostics and the American Herbalist Guild.

Robert Rountree attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 1976 to 1980 and then Penn State College of Medicine from 1980 to 1983. While at Penn State, they were a part of the Family Medicine Residency program.
