Suzanne Bland

Suzanne Bland is an accomplished nonprofit leader with extensive experience in philanthropy and development. Currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy at Thornwell since August 2020, Suzanne previously held the position of Executive Director at the Muscular Dystrophy Association from May 2016 to August 2020. Prior to that, Suzanne was the Senior Director of Development at LIFESPAN Incorporated from May 2014 to May 2016 and held multiple leadership roles at the National MS Society, including Executive Vice President of Development and Director of Development for the Central North Carolina Chapter between November 1997 and November 2013. Suzanne earned education credentials from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Saint Mary’s College.
